Camp Bus Information for July 1, 2017 – First Day of Camp

There Is a Camp Bus Leaving from Toronto, Ottawa & Montreal

Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to check in with camp bus staff, who will give you luggage tags to affix to your child’s bags, and to check in with medical staff.  Please pack first day medications separately.  We will serve lunch after campers arrive at camp.  Consider including nut-free and other non-allergenic snacks, plus toys, books, games etc. in your Kennebecer’s knapsack for the camp bus ride.

  • Kennebec’s Montreal Camp Bus departs from Fairview Pointe Claire Mall, 6801 Rte. Transcanadienne, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, H9R 5J2. Bus departs at 8:30 a.m.  Montreal campers will transfer to a combined Ottawa & Montreal bus in Ottawa.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in with Kennebec bus staff, who will give you luggage tags to affix to your child’s bags, and to check in with medical staff.  Key contact is Donna Segal at (343) 364-4677 or
  • Kennebec’s Ottawa Camp Bus departs from Pinecrest Shopping Centre, 2685 Iris Street. at 10:30 a.m. after the Montreal campers arrive.  Our bus will load between the Chapters and Ikea stores, and will leave for camp after our Montreal campers transfer onto the Ottawa bus.  Key contact is Donna Segal at (343) 364-4677 or  Please note that Kennebec staff will arrive at the Ottawa pick-up with the Montreal campers, so there will not be any Kennebec staff at the Ottawa stop until the Montreal bus arrives.

If You Are Driving Your Kennebecer to Arden

Please meet camp staff in front of the Arden Branch of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library at 5998 Arden Road, Arden, Ontario K0H1B0.  Don’t worry, you can’t miss it – Arden is very small.  For everyone’s safety, we will shuttle campers into camp on the arriving Ottawa camp bus and Toronto camp bus, as our camp road is unpaved, only 1½ lanes wide and 4 km long.  Please arrive between 11:30-12:00.  Key contact is Rob Deman (519) 932-0258 or

Information for Non-Canadian Residents

Please be aware that everyone who crosses the Canadian border requires a valid passport or Nexus card to gain entry into Canada.  Citizens of some countries may require a visa. Please check with the Canada Border Service Agency website for details, well in advance of your planned entry into Canada, for complete documentation requirements.  We will keep your children’s passport and other travel documentation safe, during their stay at camp.
