CAMPER AND STAFF HEALTH AND SAFETY ARE OUR PRIORITIES
Even before Covid, our top concerns have always been the health and safety of the entire Camp Kennebec community. We will continue to follow the guidance of local, provincial, federal, American, and international health authorities, and adhere to government regulations and adopt policies from leading camp organizations like the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association. As we have since the beginning of the Covid outbreak, we pledge to keep our Kennebec families, friends and staff up-to-date with changes in our procedures and policies, as quickly as we can.
For returning families, camp may end up being a little different this summer. You can expect changes to our medical forms and dining hall procedures. We’re adding new outdoor sinks and cleaning stations. There may be some changes to camper pick-up and drop off. There will probably be changes to the way some of our activities run too. And only time will tell if we’ll be having trips out of camp. Quite frankly, at this point we are not yet certain of all the changes we’ll be making at camp this summer.
But there are two things we promise. We will do whatever we can to keep everyone at camp healthy, while making sure campers have the summer of their lives.
